Recovery • Gachibowli

Cold plunge. Infrared sauna.
Recover like you train.

RYZE Fitness Club, on the 4th floor above Bank of India in P Janardhan Reddy Nagar. A guided contrast recovery zone — a chilled ice bath and a two-person infrared sauna with Himalayan salt and red light — built for members who train hard and sit at a desk harder.

  • Gachibowli, above Bank of India
  • Open 5 AM – 11 PM
  • Coach-guided first sessions

The recovery zone

Two rooms, one circuit

Commercial-grade kit, not a wellness corner. A chiller-driven plunge that stays cold all day, and a two-person infrared cabin you can actually book.

Cold plunge — Iconiq Polar Pro

300–350 L tub, 2 HP chiller, ozone filtration

A dedicated ice bath held at plunge temperature all day by a 2 HP chiller — no bags of ice, no waiting. Ozone filtration keeps the water clean between sessions, and a coach walks first-timers through breathing and timing.

  • 2–3 minute guided immersions for beginners
  • Water chilled continuously, not just in the morning
  • Ozone filtration — no chlorine smell on your skin
  • Timed sessions so you are never guessing in the tub

Infrared sauna — Iconiq Ultimate Wellness

2-person cabin, Himalayan salt wall, red light panel

A two-person infrared cabin that heats the body directly rather than the air, with a Himalayan salt wall and a red light panel built in. Book it solo or bring a training partner — 20 to 30 minute sessions.

  • Infrared heat — easier to breathe than a steam sauna
  • Himalayan salt wall and red light panel in the same cabin
  • Fits two — recover with your training partner
  • Sessions booked in slots, so it is never crowded

How a session runs

The contrast protocol

01

Train first

Recovery works on top of training. Finish your lift or conditioning session, rehydrate, and give yourself ten minutes before the heat.

02

Heat — 20 to 30 minutes

Into the infrared sauna. The deep heat raises circulation and loosens the muscles you just worked; the red light panel runs through the session.

03

Cold — 2 to 3 minutes

Straight into the plunge. Short, controlled immersions with coached breathing — enough to trigger the anti-inflammatory response without a suffer-fest.

04

Repeat or rest

Most members run two to three rounds of heat and cold, then shower and leave. A coach checks on first-timers through the whole circuit.

Why members use it

What recovery actually buys you

  • Faster relief from post-training soreness (DOMS)
  • Better sleep on training days — the most-reported effect
  • Lower perceived stress after long IT-corridor work weeks
  • Reduced joint and tendon stiffness for heavy lifters
  • A structured wind-down ritual instead of just leaving tired
  • Red light exposure for skin and tissue-level recovery support

FAQ

Cold plunge & sauna FAQs

Is the cold plunge and sauna included in my membership?

Recovery sessions are booked in slots at the club. Ask at reception or on WhatsApp for current recovery access — trial visitors can add a guided recovery session to their free trial.

I have never done an ice bath. Is it safe for beginners?

Yes — first-timers start with short 1–2 minute immersions with a coach present, and you can get out at any time. We teach the breathing pattern before you get in. If you have a heart condition, blood pressure issues or are pregnant, check with your doctor first.

What is the red light in the sauna for?

The cabin includes a red light panel that runs during your sauna session. Red and near-infrared light is used for skin and tissue-level recovery support; combined with the heat it makes for a noticeably deeper session than heat alone.

Can two people use the sauna together?

Yes — the Iconiq Ultimate Wellness cabin seats two, so training partners or couples can book the same slot. The cold plunge is used one person at a time.

Should I do the sauna or the cold plunge first?

We coach heat-first: 20–30 minutes in the infrared sauna, then 2–3 minutes in the plunge, repeated for two or three rounds. Ending on cold leaves most people alert; ending on heat is better before bed — your coach will suggest a sequence based on your goal.

Where is the recovery zone?
