Functional Training at RYZE Fitness Club Hyderabad

What to expect

Functional training is about carrying, pushing, pulling, hinging and rotating — the patterns your body uses outside the gym — loaded and coached properly.

Our functional zone has a turf sled lane, rig with rings and bands, kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes and suspension trainers so sessions stay varied and joint-friendly.

Functional Training FAQs

How is functional training different from strength training?

Strength training loads a few big lifts heavily. Functional training loads many movement patterns with sleds, kettlebells and carries, with more emphasis on conditioning and mobility.

Is functional training suitable for beginners?

Yes — every movement scales. Coaches adjust load, range and tempo so beginners and advanced members can train in the same session.

Can I combine it with my lifting programme?

Absolutely. Most members use one or two functional sessions a week alongside their strength days.
